From the Refugi de Tossals Verds we make a pleasant ascent towards Cúber/Refugi Son Amer. Shortly after the bridge over the Torrent des Prat, the path turns off to the north-west. We now climb steadily up to the Coll des Prat, the highest pass on the GR 221 at 1,209 m. Then slightly downhill to the Coll des Telègraf in the dry Comafreda.

Puig de Massanella, also known as "Massanella" for short, is the third-highest mountain on the island of Mallorca and the highest accessible peak. The trail is mostly well marked, except for a few spots at the top of the track, where it may be necessary to check the AllTrails map. There is plenty of open space and excellent views from the top.
